Key of Liberty is a study of government using classic literature, simulations, and short lectures. Students will read classic literature and biographies of America’s founding era, then come together to discuss what they’ve read. They will learn about the forms of government, parliamentary procedure, and the importance of freedom. Key of Liberty is also an in depth study of the U.S. Constitution. Students will study the U.S. Constitution in depth, rewriting it in their own words for greater understanding.
The tutors for this class have been trained and certified to fascilitate Key of Liberty through the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute; educating with the Thomas Jefferson Education mindset.
