HS Earth Science utilizes the Prentice Hall Earth Science Curriculum

and covers interesting topics such as the Earth’s materials, Earth’s surface,

Plate Tectonics, Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Oceanography, Meteorology, and Astronomy.

Each week your student will have an interactive in-class lab, weekly reading and

comprehension questions to complete.

They will also learn how to utilize lab sheets, study skills and test taking strategies.

Classes meet once per week.

Tuesdays ~ 10:45am-11:45am

 Homework is assigned and is expected to be completed by the due dates

listed in the syllabus, which will be passed out at the first class.

A grade for each class is recommended by the tutor.

Most parents accept recommended grades,

yet we are facilitating your homeschool,

thus parents make the final grade determinations.
